Application form
Our application form helps ensure the information you give us is provided in a consistent format, which enables us compare applications fairly. Personal details on your application form are hidden and documents you upload may be withheld at the initial shortlisting stage, to help prevent unconscious bias
Complete all sections:
Our form has multiple sections, including personal information, education, employment history, and supporting statements. Please ensure you fill out all sections completely.
It's important to be detailed and provide exact dates, job titles and responsibilities as we may not ask you for your CV, or if we do, it may be withheld at the initial shortlisting stage as part of our commitment to removing bias from the shortlisting process.
Supporting statements
As part of the application process, you'll be asked to answer some questions relating to your experience. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your skills and share examples of any achievements you have which support the criteria in the person specification.
We want you to draw on your own experiences and knowledge when answering these questions. Please don’t use ChatGPT or similar tools to generate an answer for you; just be yourself.
You can complete the form in stages and can login/logout at any time. Your application will automatically save as you enter your information and it’s easy to move backwards and forwards within the form. You’ll be able to review and make changes to your application until you're ready to submit it.
References
When completing your application, you will be asked to provide details of at least two referees and to confirm if we may approach your referees before your interview. This is so that we can reduce the time it takes to offer you a position here, if you are the successful candidate.
Your referees should be people who have direct experience of your work through working closely with you. If you are currently employed, one referee should be your current line manager. The other should be your most recent employer or previous employer.
You will be asked to confirm the relationship you have to your referee within the application form. Your referee's contact information will need to be provided - including a company email address. Please ensure they're aware and willing to provide a reference for you. Referees should not be friends or family members.
